Design Brief: The objective is to re-design Keysight Technologies' existing product line of oscilloscopes to be more approachable and user-friendly for new generations.
This re-design will integrate new technology and materials to enhance performance and usability. The focus will be on creating an intuitive interface and modern aesthetic that appeals to younger users. Additionally, the design will incorporate advanced features and durable materials to ensure long-term reliability and functionality.

User Experience Research
We conducted extensive user experience research by studying the workflows and preferences of professional users. We engaged with engineers and technicians through interviews, observations, and usability testing to identify pain points and areas for improvement.
This research provided valuable insights into how professionals interact with oscilloscopes, including their needs for intuitive controls, clear displays, and efficient data analysis. By understanding their experiences and challenges, we were able to develop a user-friendly design that caters to both seasoned professionals and new generations of users.
